  • Package Hawk — Terms of Service

    Welcome to Package Hawk. By accessing or using the Package Hawk app, website, or services, you agree to the following Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

    1. Overview of the Service

    Package Hawk provides a platform that connects delivery drivers (“Hawks”) with customers who need packages or food delivered from campus kiosks to dorm halls.

    Drivers are independent contractors, not employees.

    2. Eligibility

    To use Package Hawk, you must:

    • Be at least 18 years old

    • Have an active account in your real name

    • Not be barred from using similar services under local or federal law

    Drivers must also meet additional requirements found in the Driver Agreement.

    3. Account Registration

    When creating an account, you agree to:

    • Provide accurate, truthful information

    • Keep your login credentials secure

    • Not share your account with anyone else

    • Notify us immediately of unauthorized activity

    We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

    4. Payments & Fees

    Package Hawk uses Stripe for secure payment processing.

    • Customers pay for deliveries through the app.

    • Drivers receive earnings through Stripe Connect payouts.

    • Package Hawk may charge service fees, delivery fees, or platform fees.

    All payments are final, except where required by law.

    5. Driver Earnings & Payouts

    Drivers are paid for completed deliveries. Earnings can be transferred from a Driver’s Stripe account to their personal bank account according to Stripe’s schedule.

    Package Hawk does not control:

    • Bank processing times

    • Stripe identity verification requirements

    • Delays due to account errors or fraud checks

    Drivers are responsible for providing accurate payout information.

    6. User Conduct

    You agree not to:

    • Use the Service for illegal purposes

    • Damage or interfere with the platform

    • Impersonate others or provide false information

    • Harass, harm, or endanger any user or Hawk

    • Attempt to access data you do not have permission to view

    Violations may result in account suspension or legal action.

    7. Delivery Expectations

    Drivers are responsible for handling packages safely and delivering them promptly. Package Hawk is not liable for:

    • Lost, stolen, or damaged items (However, customers may be reimbursed in specific use cases)

    • Delays caused by Drivers, weather, or campus operations

    • Errors in delivery instructions provided by customers

    Customers must provide accurate pickup and drop-off information.

    8. Intellectual Property

    All Package Hawk logos, branding, software, and content belong to Package Hawk. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our materials without permission.

    9. Disclaimers

    The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

    • Service uptime

    • Driver availability

    • Delivery times

    • Accuracy of customer or driver-provided information

    10. Limitation of Liability

    To the fullest extent permitted by law, Package Hawk is not liable for:

    • Lost profits

    • Service interruptions

    • Property damage

    • Misuse of the platform

    • Actions, errors, or misconduct by Drivers or users

    Your use of the Service is at your own risk.

    11. Termination

    We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you:

    • Violate these Terms

    • Create legal or safety risks

    • Abuse the platform

    You may delete your account at any time by contacting support. (packagehawk@gmail.com)

    12. Changes to These Terms

    We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.

  • Package Hawk – Driver Payout Privacy Policy

    Effective Date: 12/3/2025

    Package Hawk is committed to protecting the privacy and security of the delivery drivers (Hawks) who use our platform to complete deliveries and receive earnings. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information when Drivers withdraw funds earned through Package Hawk using Stripe payment processing. Please note that your information is NOT sold or given away.

    1. Information We May Collect

    When a Driver creates an account and withdraws funds, we may collect the following types of information:

    Account & Identity Information

    • Full name

    • Email address

    • Phone number

    • Date of birth (if required for Stripe identity verification)

    • Residential address

    Financial Information

    • Bank account or debit card information

    • Payment routing information

    • Payout history and earnings data

    Platform Usage Information

    • Delivery earnings

    • Completed delivery logs

    • Account activity related to transfers or payout actions

    Stripe Information

    We use Stripe Connect to process payouts. Stripe may collect additional information for identity verification, tax reporting, and fraud prevention. Stripe processes all payment information securely and independently. Their privacy policy is available at: https://stripe.com/privacy

    2. How We Use Your Information

    We use Driver information strictly for the following purposes:

    • To process payouts through Stripe Connect

    • To verify your identity and meet legal/financial compliance requirements

    • To maintain accurate earnings and transfer records

    • To detect and prevent fraud or unauthorized transactions

    • To communicate with you about payout status or account issues

    We do not sell, rent, or share Driver payout information with third parties for marketing or unrelated purposes.

    3. How Stripe Uses & Stores Your Information

    Stripe acts as our secure payment processor and is responsible for:

    • Storing your financial information

    • Verifying your identity

    • Ensuring compliance with banking and anti-fraud regulations

    • Executing your payouts

    Package Hawk does not store or have access to your full bank account numbers or sensitive financial credentials.

    All financial data is encrypted and securely handled by Stripe in accordance with industry standards (PCI-DSS).

    4. How We Protect Your Information

    We take reasonable technical and administrative measures to safeguard your information, including:

    • Encrypted transmission of data

    • Role-based access control (only authorized personnel may view payout data)

    • Secure servers and restricted systems

    • Regular monitoring for unauthorized access

    Despite these measures, no method of electronic transmission is completely secure. By using the platform, Drivers acknowledge the inherent risks involved.

    5. Sharing Your Information

    We may share minimal information with:

    • Stripe, solely for payout processing and verification

    • Government agencies, if legally required (e.g., fraud investigations, tax reporting)

    • Service providers, only as necessary to support our platform (never for marketing)

    We never share or sell Driver financial information outside these purposes.

    6. Your Rights & Choices

    Drivers have the right to:

    • Access the personal information we store

    • Update or correct inaccurate account information

    • Request deletion of certain data (except information we must retain for legal or financial compliance)

    7. Data Retention

    We retain Driver payout and identity information only as long as necessary to:

    • Process payouts

    • Maintain accurate financial records

    • Satisfy legal and tax obligations

    After required retention periods, data is securely deleted or anonymized.

    8. Changes to This Policy

    We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are made, Drivers will be notified through the app, website, or email. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

  • Package Hawk — Driver Agreement

    Effective Date: 12/3/2025

    This Driver Agreement is between you (Hawk) and Package Hawk. By signing up to deliver with Package Hawk, you agree to the terms below.

    1. Independent Contractor Status

    Drivers are independent contractors, not employees of Package Hawk.
    This means:

    • You control when and how you work

    • You are responsible for your own schedule

    • You are responsible for your own taxes, expenses, and equipment

    • You are not entitled to employee benefits

    Package Hawk does not withhold taxes on your behalf.

    2. Requirements to Drive

    To perform deliveries for Package Hawk, you must:

    • Be at least 18 years old

    • Have a valid government ID (This will be collected when you sign up and are processed)

    • Have the ability to travel across campus (walking, bike, scooter, etc.)

    • Have a smartphone that can reach the Package Hawk app

    • Pass any required verification (including Stripe identity verification)

    We may require additional documentation for safety or compliance.

    3. Stripe Payouts

    Drivers must create and maintain a Stripe Connect account to receive earnings.

    You agree that:

    • Stripe may require identity verification documents

    • Incorrect banking details may delay or block payouts

    • Stripe handles all secure financial data

    • Package Hawk cannot access your full bank information

    • Payout timing depends on Stripe and your bank, not Package Hawk

    Any disputes regarding payout processing must first be directed to Stripe.

    4. Driver Responsibilities

    Drivers agree to:

    • Handle all packages safely and respectfully

    • Follow pickup and delivery instructions accurately

    • Not open, damage, or tamper with packages

    • Deliver items in a timely manner

    • Communicate professionally with customers

    • Maintain a high standard of conduct and reliability

    • Follow all campus and local rules

    Repeated customer complaints may result in suspension or termination.

    5. Prohibited Conduct

    Drivers may not:

    • Steal, delay, or tamper with packages

    • Carry prohibited or illegal items

    • Use drugs or alcohol while working

    • Harass, threaten, or endanger customers

    • Misrepresent your identity or delivery status

    • Share another user’s personal information

    Violation may result in account termination and potential law enforcement involvement.

    6. Payment & Earnings

    You earn money for each completed delivery. You understand that:

    • Rates may vary

    • Package Hawk may adjust pricing or incentives at any time

    • You are responsible for your own taxes and reporting

    • Incomplete or fraudulent deliveries may result in withheld earnings

    7. Liability & Insurance

    Package Hawk is not responsible for:

    • Accidents, injuries, or damages you cause

    • Theft or loss of your personal equipment

    • Vehicle or device repairs

    • Fines or legal violations you incur while delivering

    Drivers should maintain appropriate personal insurance for their vehicle or transportation method.

    8. Termination of Driver Access

    Package Hawk may suspend or terminate a Driver for:

    • Fraud

    • Misconduct

    • Repeated customer complaints

    • Unsafe behavior

    • Violations of this Agreement

    • Failure to comply with Stripe verification requirements

    Drivers may stop using the platform at any time.

    9. Use of Driver Information

    Driver information may be used to:

    • Process payouts

    • Verify identity

    • Maintain delivery records

    • Enforce compliance and safety

    • Communicate about delivery operations

    This is also governed by the Package Hawk Privacy Policy.

    10. Changes to This Agreement

    Package Hawk may update this Agreement at any time. Drivers will be notified through the app, website, or email. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
